Months of the Bahá'í Calendar

The Baha'i Calendar has 19 months of 19 days.  Each Baha'i month begins with a Feast.  The name of each Baha'i month derives from the word Baha (Glory), and is a quality or name of God .

You must be a Baha'i to have the privilege of attending Feast.

There are 9 Baha'i Holy Days.
February 26 through March 1 Baha'is and friends celebrate Ayyam-i-ha, or Days of Joy, in preparation for an annual Fast, March 2-20.  In addition to social events, Baha'i communities often establish new institutions, such as Baha'i schools and community centers, or help with establishing other organizations.

Friends of Baha'is are invited to attend holy day observances and Ayyam-i-ha events.

Here is a list of the Baha'i months and holy days.  A link follows from which you may read selected passages from Baha'i Scriptures appropriate for the name of the month or holy day.
